Greek pianist-composer Andreas Foivos Apostolou will be performing works by Leo Ornstein, Carl Vine, Hiromi Uehara, Tigran Hamasyan, and his own original works. The program will showcase world premières of a short unfinished Sonatine by Leo Ornstein and a commissioned work by LA-based composer George N. Gianopoulos. Apostolou aims to present contemporary works that highlight elements of post-tonal, jazz and experimental music, exposing the full range of the modern grand piano and utilizing unconventional techniques.

Colburn students get in for free!
