Heidi Lesemann Education Fund:
The Heidi Lesemann Education Fund is a fund to support outreach concerts and workshops for elementary, middle and high school students, performed by Core and Emerging Artists in partnership with community organizations like the Neighborhood Music School in Boyle Heights, Renaissance Arts Academy and the Harmony Project. Donors at $500 or more will receive recognition at events, and will be invited to attend workshops and concerts.
Composer Commissioning Circle:
Donors to the Commissioning Circle will see their funds support commissions by composers who have been chosen by our Core Artists. Founding donors who give $500 or more will receive recognition from the stage for their selected composer. Donors of $2,500 or more will be invited to a special, informal presentation of the work by the artist and the composer prior to the public premiere. Donors of $5,000 or more will receive a copy of the full score, with a framed, autographed title page. Additionally, your name will be printed in the dedication of the work and you will receive a printed program autographed by the composer and the artist. In addition, you’ll become a member of our Inner Circle. Please make a donation and contact the Executive Director at pianospheres-at-gmail.com to discuss your commission.
Leonard Stein Artist Residency:
A performance and project-based residency dedicated to locating, supporting and presenting pianists from historically underrepresented groups who specialize in the performance of new music. Over a one-year period, the Stein resident artist will be featured on Piano Spheres’ annual concert series, and will assist and advise the organization in advancing projects geared toward overturning biases in the field of classical new music. Founding donors of $500 or more will be invited to meet with the Stein Resident at a special Salon for Founding Members only.
