I am writing to tell you thank you for the Love Festival Party on Sunday.
I got the full report from Heidi when she got home, and sad though I am I was not able to be there, her report made me feel wonderful.
It is difficult for her to be praised like that, but I hope you know that the beautiful job you did organizing it, and creating it all so perfectly, made it special for her. It was clear none of the wonderful feeling she got from that beautiful afternoon would have happened without you producing it so well.
I’m sure she will tell you what a wonderful job you did, but I felt compelled to tell you myself. Thank you for giving this to our beautiful Heidi.

One more time…..Thank you so much for the wonderful tribute to Heidi. I so appreciate your attention to the details and organization of such a fun party! The ambience, the fabulous music and great assortment of guests, gathered to show love and appreciation for our amazing Heidi. I am still enjoying the “glow”.
Will there be any photos of the afternoon? I would love to see some, if possible.
Thanks again…and see you soon.

My hat is off to each of you for making the celebration of Heidi and her contributions to contemporary music, especially pianoSpheres, such an outstanding success. The gathering together of so many in such a beautiful location was an appropriate tribute to the “Enabler,” as she deemed herself. Heidi is the sparkle that has made Southern California’s music scene shine so brightly!
Special thanks go to Katherine, Thomas and his mom for making that hilltop home available for our party, and to Mark S. for his magic wand calling forth perfect catering and valet services for the afternoon. Jeff, another magician here, not only figured the whole thing out, but even pulled perfect weather out of his hat for our entertainment. Speaking of which, Aron, Gloria, Mark R., Thomas, Sarah and Vicki outdid themselves with superb performances along with admiring and heartfelt tributes to Heidi for their many years of friendship.
“Listen for the Art,” the book Carol and Vicki made of conversations with Heidi about her artistic life is a wonderful memento for all of the occasion. To read it is to realize just how deeply Heidi is embedded in every aspect of the LA musical environment. If you haven’t read it yet, please take the first opportunity to do so. PianoSpheres, you will find, is in its diverse visionary strands, very much a reflection all those that have run through Heidi’s life.
In her remarks, Heidi talked about Susan and Rick, both so recently lost to the pianoSpheres world. They will not be forgotten. A certain donor has asked to sponsor a future concert of ours to their memory. Rick’s compositions and other pieces that Susan loved to play would make a splendid memorial.
The party yesterday was a delight, and it was nice that so many of Heidi’s family could attend. It was a perfect marker for the transition of leadership in pianoSpheres from Heidi to Jeff. The manner in which everyone pitched in to make the event what it was signifies that we are in good hands. As things wound down, those I talked to said the afternoon exceeded their expectations. Congratulations to all!

It was an honor and great pleasure for me to join the Brava Heidi celebration and thank you so much for everything you did to make it happen!
I was deeply moved by Heidi’s speech and introducing me to the audience. The core artists were amazing and I am really excited and looking forward to working with PianoSpheres…
